The music and the sound design of Spellborn were quite an achievement. Famous video game music composer Jesper Kyd (of Hitman, Assasin's Creed and Unreal Tournament 3 fame) was contracted for this game and the result was breathtaking.
Ambiental music composer Matthew Florianz served as sound designer for Spelborn. He was mainly responsible for the soundscapes, however he did quite a lot of environmental (read: level) design. This is why, at times, what was present on the screen in Spellborn stroke a perfect balance with whatever came through the headphones.
Do you remember the epic theme playing in the background when arriving on Parliament Shard? Do you remember the amazing Ringfel Heath exploration music? Or maybe the Oracle theme?
Since all music in the game was present in the client game files, making an archive out of everything was easy. So without further ado, I present you:
The Music of Spellborn
If that doesn't work, try this one:
The Music of Spellborn
Ogg Vorbis files. Any decent, recent audio player will do.
