Right in the nostalgia Acid... :/

Video's bring back a lot of memories [Image: default_smile.png]

btw does anyone have a log from back when there was a server to connect to?

Yeah more then enough, but on the old system.

From memory it does contain a unique key each time you connected to the server, maybe it's time and date related or a combination with the IP of the client, not realy sure about that though.

That video gives me a nostalgia.

I still have all old client files,so if you need anything i could send it.

I miss working on this game every day! I can still launch the editor and fly through the maps that way, but I just wish someone would come up with an offline mode or something for the game..

Maybe I could share some in editor screenshots with you guys, I think that should be allowed [Image: default_smile.png]

Hi Zer0.BE,

That would be great!

It would be even greater if you could share your editor , [Image: default_wink.png] (Joking).

I know you are not allowed yet.

Hey Steven,

Nice to see another artist from the Original team has found his way to the Spellborn forums over here.

I looked on your portfolio website and noticed you have done the redesigning of Hawksmouth and also worked on Exarchyon.

As you might have seen in other threads here in the forum I've done some reverse enginering on the Spellborn packages and

am trying to get things done in the standard UT2004 editor by rewriting the package contents into a format UT2004 can read.

Off course not everything is compatible and there's still enough unclear for me which package data belongs to what, in other words any

info you are able and allowed to share is welcome.

I would say let's at least try to get a server back together apart from the SQL server which will give the spellborn client a way to walk around.

Meaning the server software would be on the local machine and give me some more testing possibility's.

I'd love to see some of your editor screenshots and see where the changes were made in comparison to the standard UT2004 editor.

Greetings Jan-Willem

Hello Steven,

That would be awesome! Feel free to share anything here.

Very curious how the editor itself looked like...

Greetings,

Kevin

I would love to see some screenshots from the editor.

And of course anything else you are alowed to share is welcome!
