Quote:I hardly think they would e-mail a person they do not know and say "ahh well we are in court proceedings with Spellborn NV at the mo cos they owe us lots of money", or even a politer version.  They were cryptic for good reason I'd say, as its all undecided.

I am surprised my friend managed to get the reply he did, considering many players received NO replies for months to various communications.

frogster.de used to list Spellborn as one of the games in their portofolio. Now they don't do this anymore. Does that mean they have lost interest in publishing this game?

Not necessarily; they've lost the rights to publish it so, it seems quite normal they'd remove it then.

But if you look carefully, you still see an image of TCoS in the header on their site Tongue

Nah that was until 2 weeks ago; they seemed to have removed the header atleast from the german website.

I assume you're talking about the Flash banner. Flash is not that easy to modify, so maybe this is why it's still there. Or maybe they just forgot about it.

hi, so glad i found an active forum for this game!  any more news yet?  also, anyone know if its possible to make a small private server (for like 1 or 2 people?  i generally play solo anyway).

All we know, is out on the site at the moment. When we know something, you'll be the first to know and if we happen to miss something please point our attention to any possible life signs we've been missing. [Image: default_smile.png]

As for the server; you're not the first one to ask about that.

But the conclusion remains the same: unless we find a multi-talented person with networking skills and knowledge of reverse software engineering and alot of time, we're stuck. Money is not so much of an issue. If we all chip in a bit we can easily keep a server up.
