How to join the testserver - Czelsior - 12-05-2015
To join our testserver you need to install the 0.9.0.0 Beta Client
Get it here: http://www.spellborn.org/showthread.php?tid=49
Open up Program Files/The Chronicles of Spellborn/etc/client/sb_client.rc
change the IP for the line client/net/login_addr to...
84.201.37.211:22233
You can start the client with the Sb_client.exe which is available in the bin folder.
At your first login you can type in whatever you want at user and password, but remember it.
It will create an account with this information, for further logins.
Now, you should be able to join the testserver.
At the moment you can only explore the maps with a random character.
Further features are in development.

So I tried to join the test server with someone, and we can spawn just fine in Hawksmouth, except we cannot see each other moving in-game. Any fix for that? Also, I believe there was one other test server online at some point, is it still up?

the github code contains the code to run a server on your own PC or second PC, this should work better in relation to being able to see other characters if you login more then once with several clients.
I'm not activly working on the project at the moment, so I can't say for sure if someone has this server code running on a public available machine.

If you're somewhat technically versed, you can use the github project to set a local server up for yourself though
