Well GameGuard can be bypassed or disabled. Plenty of MMOs out there who preceeded Spellborn and succeeded in bypassing it.

I'm going to have to make a clear stance on my position in this little project (due to legal reasons) to protect the Spellborn Fan Hub / myself in the event of problems with Spellborn NV/Frogster (legal problems, that is).

I don't approve nor dissaprove the starting of a private server, but I can not help with the creation/starting/hosting of a private server. I will however allow topics about this on the Spellborn Fan Hub, but I cannot join these projects myself in order to protect this site. If I get a request from any party I will have to comply, and if I'm involved with this personally that could make it possible to sue me for helping them (my details aren't hard to track for anyone who knows something about whois) and in order to avoid that (and requesting closure of this site) I'm feeling forced to let you guys know this.


While I do want to play TCoS as the rest of you guys, I simply cannot combine it with the ownership of this site (legally).


I do find this discussion handy and informative, I can't (as owner of this site) help you guys. I truly wish I could, as I find this a noble goal (I really do!), but for all of us it's better if I keep myself out of this.


This however does not mean I don't/won't follow this thread and/or comment in it, but officialy I do not support this.
