Spotting Spellborn

Picture of another one of the shirts for anyone interested to see them. I can take more pictures if others are interested... have a Spellborn coat, hoodie, a couple of posters, and a glass thing with the Oracle engraved in it. The hoddie and coat aren't really interesting but the others might be.

Sad thing is, Bol.com ( a dutch online shop) still offers both the game for sale as the timecards. Bit expensive tho for a game that isn't playable and has been F2P for more than a year XD

The big point is: the developer went down, but probably the publisher hasn't even sent notice that the game went down. So kind of hard to get them to remove it.

Hmm...last time I saw it in the stores (a few days after the US servers went down) I was told that the publishers sent a notice saying the game was taken down.

I was actually only taking a quick look in the pc-games section (looking for some bargain titles) when I came across the game. My main 'goal' was to find a CD as a Christmas present for my dad (and they didn't even have the cd... ). So I had no time to talk to an employee about it. But when I've time to return (exams don't really allow me to), I'll revisit the store and make they aware of the fact that the game is no longer playable (that is if they still have the game).


But as for the online retailers as Bol.com; we could try and send them an e-mail about it. But I'm unsure how they'll response. They are only trying to get rid of their boxes as the publishers don't seem to take them back.

I really do feel for that guy but I think it is funny to. Also shows you really need to dig first before buying a game. You may not even like it or something like this happens. But I do believe this guy just had bad luck. ;]


Anyways I asked it at the game stores here and they all remember the game sort of (it was a dutch game so many dutch game stores probably had it), but they only remember the game vaguely and they all got rid of the game. But! One did ask me if I still wanted a collection box because they had it laying around somewhere and bought it for only 5 euros! So now to find a TCoS shirt. Though I am 2 meters tall so will there be one in my size? ;]
