If I try running with windows 7,8,vista,xp,etc. settings, still won't work.  

If I spam the button to open with windows 7 settings, I can see the launcher momentarily, then it closes again.

When the internet connection is not yet available when starting the launcher, and it has to wait for the connection to become available, the launcher does not crash.
