unfortunately this wiki, doesn't give info about ID's and class names and so on (which interestingly the WoW wiki does for id's).

Too bad the database from Hinx has vanished.

It's not completly gone, there's a few snapshots available via the waybackmachine, but it's not complete at all.

I've tried to get in contact with Hinx but got no reply on my messages. I think even Vampiretrix offered to host the data,

but it didn't work out the way we hoped.

 

Our small group as we are now are trying to get things going and I must say it's looking good, but don't forget, there's a lot more

to be done, the game was more then just being able to roam our beloved lands.

I indeed offered to host the data, and Hinx and I agreed about that, but I never received data and I couldn't reach him anymore.

So afaik the data is lost, but Hinx might just still have a backup. If he has, I'm all too happy to host it.

Made any new progress guys?

Studying takes a lot of time for me currently. I have to postpone further work to next semester break.

The same, work takes a lot of time. I had the possibility to explore a lot the different packages but currently did not find exactly what I wanted.

For me the main problem to resolve before being able to seriously work on the server is how warping between zones is activated (as it has an important impact on the server architecture), and it may be linked to objects id etc.

So the goal is to find how to get these objects ID. There are interesting functions in the code but not easy to reverse and as I did not have much time last weeks I did not get as far as I wanted (but did find very interesting stuff on the data side thanks to JW/Acid-burn and Acordero documentation).

May be JW and Acid have managed to go further in this process.

I just added to the wiki the Unreal Script functions related to the teleport. I exported those a while back, but I don't remember from wich version I took them.
